Meet the Founder

The Behavior Cooperative was founded by Rachael Celestin M.S., BCBA, LBA-GA, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst whose experience spans direct clinical care, behavioral assessment, practitioner training, and clinical leadership. Her work is particularly committed to creating a space where Black children and families feel seen, understood, and meaningfully represented in their care.

Rachael is also pursuing doctoral training in behavior analysis, with research interests in Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT), behavioral artistry, culturally responsive practice, and the development of compassionate and effective clinicians. Her clinical philosophy reflects the same questions that guide her scholarship: how can behavior science remain rigorous while becoming more responsive to the people it is intended to serve?

The Behavior Cooperative was created to rework the current ABA model. Through a 1:1 BCBA-led approach, Rachael works directly with children and families, allowing assessment, intervention, relationship-building, and clinical decision-making to happen together.

Outside of behavior analysis, Rachael is a mom, traveler, foodie, and lifelong learner who enjoys exploring new cultures, good food, wellness, and finding any excuse to use her passport. Those experiences also shape her belief that children and families exist within rich lives and communities.
